General Info
My name is Rani and I live in Nottingham. I started learning BSL as a hobby in 2012, I fell in love with the language so after I completed my Level 1 qualification I never stopped! I left my career in finance when I qualified in Level 3, and starting working as a Communication Support Worker in colleges. I fully qualified as a Registered Sign Language Interpreter in July 2022.
I have worked as a community interpreter (both as a TSLI and RSLI) since July 2020. During this time I have worked regularly in the following domains:
*Education (school meetings and further education courses)
*Medical (GPs and hospitals)
*Access to Work (including 1-2-1 work and team meetings)
*Mental health
*Training sessions (including deaf awareness, first aid, corporate induction courses)
*VRS and remote interpreting
If you have any questions or want to get in touch, please feel free to do so. Thank you!
