General Info
In addition to offering British Sign language interpreting, I am also a qualified professional supervisor (https://labyrinthsupervision.com/supervisors/paul-michaels) and an NRCPD Practice Professional. I qualified as an assessor in March 2022 with a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) which has replaced the old A1 Assessor qualification and therefore I can also be your NRCPD Practice Assessor. I hold a PhD from Durham University (2023) which examined the motivations and experiences of men in the predominantly female profession of British Sign Language interpreting. I am a member of ASLI, VLP, efsli and WASLI.
